Ever since plastic money (credit card, E-wallets)  was introduced, Unethical hacking is on the rise. Hackers are stealing peoples money through ATM's, Websites, Spam mails, and etc.

Recently on September 2018, hackers stole Rs 94 crore by hacking into the ATM server of the Cosmos Bank in Pune.      

In 2017 alone hackers worldwide stole $172 billion from people. And the number is raising. These hackers have become a headache    for     the 

cyber-security organisations.

Under section 43 of IT act 2000, hacking is a punishable act with imprisonment up to 3 years and fine up to 2 lakh rupees. But it seems not enough to prevent hackers from committing crime.





These hackers are untraceable and do their work with so much sophistication, they leave no clue behind for the cyber police to find them.Internet is a virtual world where one can imitate, duplicate, escape easily.


Introduction of new forms of money is only creating new ways for hackers to steal money.In year 2018, $1.1 billion was stolen from Crypto-currencies only.






Unethical hacking is a crime in any part of the world. Law also supports the opposition of unethical hacking. The culprits should be imprisoned for the unethical activity depending upon the amount of damage caused to the society.


Government Cyber security agencies should also try to versatile themselves to reach the Hackers.
